Sunday 4th May - Special Guest Captain David Hawke and the Canberra City Oasis kids
This week the meeting at Canberra City Oasis was led by Captian David Hawke who is the Divisional Youth Secretary (DYS) for the ACT and  South NSW division. The service was particularly focused toward our young children, many of whom attended the Salvation Army's divisional Kids Camp at Greenhills last week. Below is a photo of Captain David and the kids teaching the congregation some actions to a song from the camp!

We also heard from Chris Love, our Youth and Childrens Ministry worker, who attended Kids Camp as a leader. Below Chris is getting the kids to share some of their favourite things from the camp.

Below: Captain's Stu and David standing with a banner of the Salvation Army's vision for youth and children. The Banner says: "We see generations of young people becoming passionate and practical Christians who transform their world"
This week we also welcomed Captain Donna (below with Stu) home after almost a month spent visiting various Salvation Army facilities throughout America and Canada. Welcome home Donna!
